100th Post

We made it! Our 100th post! Thanks to everyone who has promoted the site so far… without much monetary investment we have on average about 50 unique visitors a month… not bad! But please keep telling people about the creative daily. We’ll be launching an online store sometime in December where you’ll be able to purchase prints, t-shirts, coffee mugs, web designer sketchbook (aka. Blend Book), and who knows what else!

Also, we’ve had a few problems with certain posts - but we’ve fixed tons of bugs over the last few weeks - so things should be popping up correctly for everyone. Please keep sending your bug reports via email.

We’re excited about the progress so far and looking forward to delivering another 100 posts!

The creative daily is the virtual playground of Aaron Scales, Matt Oatley, and friends. This site exists for two purposes: To stretch our creativity daily and to inspire (hopefully) other creative minds. Consider this your daily dose of design inspiration! Some might ask, "do you design something for this site every day?" Yes... and no. We are disciplined to design something everyday and while most posts represent "what we created today," not all posts will be bound to that format. Send us an email and request an invite to become a featured artist. Describe your creative and attach samples of your work or provide a link to your online portfolio.

Prepare your creative with the specifications you received in your invitation email. We accept any image file type, flash files (swf, fla), as well as audio and video files.

When you're done setting up your creative, submit it for approval. We will notify you via email with your designated post date.
